OSMA Mission
To promote the welfare of patients, the science and art of medicine, the betterment of public health; and the mutual interests of component societies.

OSMA Vision
To be an effective advocate on issues of primary importance to Oklahoma patients and their physicians.

OSMA Goals

1. OSMA will be the respected voice and advocate for creating a favorable environment for health care and advancement of physicians.

2. OSMA will lead Oklahoma physicians by maintaining a unified front through collaboration, cooperation and communication among physicians and strategic partners.

3. OSMA will promote initiatives to assist physicians in the development of systems to improve access to and quality of patient care.

4. OSMA will pursue innovative and comprehensive improvements to the current tort system.

5. OSMA will work aggressively to restore and preserve economic viability of medical practices across all specialties and practice settings and help physicians explore new practice models.
